If you’re looking for great accommodation, stop searching and book this place! The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, located in a beautiful and charming house. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. The hostel is close to the metro, with excellent connections not only to all parts of Manhattan but also to the airport. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay and I highly recommend it!
It's a truly amazing place. I haven't seen such good accommodation in NYC for a similar price. Very close to the subway station at 125th Street. At this price, it's hard to find a capsule hostel in the Central Park area, let alone a private room. The facility has specific rules, but they are there to make everyone feel comfortable and allow them to relax after a day in this noisy city. According to my plan, I was supposed to be at the facility at midnight, but in the end, my flight was delayed and I didn't check in until 2 a.m. The owner acted as if it was my fault, but I don't hold it against her because it was the middle of the night and we all wanted to sleep. You won't find better accommodation for this price, so if you're planning a budget trip, choose this place. There's no point in overpaying for expensive hotels when you can get exactly the same thing here at a much lower price. The shared bathroom is not a problem, as it was always free when I needed it. It's an amazing place and the owner is very nice. I know that on my next visit to NYC I will definitely come back here, and I hope it will be soon. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. I will recommend this place to all my friends who are going to NYC!
We really enjoyed our stay at La Sienna. The location was perfect, the price was great, and it was wonderfully quiet. Our host was amazing and even gave us great tips about places to visit nearby. We were very happy with the whole experience and would definitely stay again.
This is the best hostel I've ever been. The neighborhood is really safe and convenient. You have everything you need nearby and a lot of metros. Room and bathroom are clean and neat. The owner is really friendly and helpful. We had good nights sleep cause it's quiet and bed is comfy ! Big plus : coffee for free and the house is much more pretty than on the pictures
Just finishing a very pleasant 5 night stay. A great find with welcoming host/owner. Extremely clean comfortable with kitchen use fully equipped . Quiet very safe location with all the shops needed and minutes from the trains giving easy access to all of Manhattan and airports. Would return again when next in NY. One thing I must say is the price is unbeatable. Recommended.
I have been coming to La Sienna for over 12 years now. When I started visiting New York, I stayed in a different neighborhood each time until I found this gem. Yvette thinks of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. She is very helpful and fair. Her prices are amazing for a safe, friendly and exceptionally clean place to stay. As mentioned in other posts, the location is ideal. There is everything you could need within walking distance. Great subway and bus accessibility to get around and to and from JFK and La Guardia. Yes, Yvette sets rules but they are for the safety and benefit of all. This is her home and it should be treated with the respect you would expect of your own. La Sienna really is my home away from home and I look forward to every visit!
